Economic

Types of Economies

Richman’s economy:

The Very rich will buy control (Stock) in manufacturing plants out of the USA to where they will have their products manufactured by low wage employees . These products are then imported into the United State and other countries to be sold. Now they say this is capitalism and it is, they make plenty of money. But think about it, for every car part, guitar, radio, television, and all other products that we use to make here in the US of A by our skilled labor force , well those jobs are now gone. Now here is something else to think about, the money we pay for these imports are gone too! The monies are paying wages to some other countries citizens (labor) to make the products we use to make and the rich fat cat is making money hand over hand and saving the money in foreign banks free from US taxes to reinvest in more plants overseas.

Our Government’s economy:

Grow, grow, and grow. I am almost sure that, in fact I am sure; the US Government is the largest employer in the country, which is the reason for all the excess taxes we pay. How many people are employed by each US Representative and Senator? What about all the committees and their staff. Wow, think about the Department of Transportation and how many employees they have? I love this one, they get paid and don’t even do their Jobs (think about the road and highway conditions). See where this is going? The government is suppose to work for us, but guess what, they got it made, they have us working to pay them to have a life long vacation.

The Good economy:

When the community knows what its resources are, then develops them into a finished product to sell to the community and its neighbors. For instance Georgia has timber, kaolin, manganese deposits, iron ore, copper, and others. What I would do with these resources:

• Cut the timber and mill it into lumber keeping the jobs in Georgia

o Create plants to build furniture.

• Mine Kaolin and produce

o The pigments and additive in GA

o Manufacture the paper in GA

o Manufacture paints in GA

Whatever we can create from our natural resource we need to do it right here in Georgia. We then sell our finished products, not our natural resources. If you have a natural resource and do not have the infrastructure to produce a finished product from it then invite a manufacturer to build in your community, which will create more jobs and bring more capital in to the community.

If your community does not have the natural resources you need to start thinking about services you can offer to other communities that do have natural resources. You need to produce Agriculture Crops, Manufacturing services, smelting plants, and etcetera. Try to develop jobs in the technology industry.

I promise

I just want to wish everyone a prosperous new year. May the troubles of the recession fade away into the night as though they never were. On January 1st we will wake up and announce that today is the day we will create the best year ever. We can turn the economy around if we do not make any purchases that are not made in the USA. I know that it is impossible to find everything we need made in the USA; but if we do all that is possible to buy made in the USA, we will find more and more products will be made here. We also have to remember in order to have a rich economy we need to produce FINISHED products to export, this brings money in. We do not need to export our raw resources for other nations to build FINISHED products to export back into our country which only takes our monies out of our hands and puts it into their hands.

I promise that as a business, Computer and Network Technologies will build their computers, laptops, and servers from parts made in the USA when possible. We use Intel motherboards and processors; Intel builds their processors in the USA. I also promise that I will never export our labor to any foreign country. I give my personal guarantee to you, my clients and customers, that I will provide the best service that is possible and will sell only products made here in the USA whenever possible.

I am not sure We can Fix The US of A

I am sitting here thinking it CAN"T be fixed! Because all the Americans in the United States would rather talk about what is wrong with it than fix it. The citizens are lazy or don't care, they would rather let someone take care of them. I guess they believe the Government will take care of them. Well wake up and smell the rose’s people. Just look at the mess the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA's people have got us in. Yes we have caused this MESS! The people we have voted into office only want to enrich their selves by the sweat off our backs.

We the people allowed our Jobs to be exported to countries with lower wages and allowed the manufactures to still charge the same prices for their products as if they were built right here in the United States, you know greed fed economy. Well this snowballed on them now we are getting to be a nation that produces NOTHING and it is hurting us, you can see it by all the lost jobs. Good economics do not import any finished products unless they CAN NOT BE PRODUCED IN YOUR CONTRY! Look the only way to fix this now is to put import taxes on all products coming in to the US built for manufactures in the United States, built by people outside the United States. This would give incentives to people here at home to produce more and would create more jobs here.

The Government has been taking the fuel taxes that are marked for Road use and spending it elsewhere. Fuel Tax should only be spent on building highways and road and bridge maintenance.

Our Government thinks WE THE PEOPLE is dumb, that we don’t have the intelligence to vote for the right person to lead our country. They think we pick representatives to represent us in the House and Senate because we are too dumb to make intelligent choices for our self. They believe we have to appoint people to think for us.

I am asking you the people, do we need someone to think for us or do we just need someone to represent our ideas and opinions in Congress. After all, we are a people lead by the people we elect to govern our nation and to represent us the people.

I am asking you to prove me wrong, that we the people can fix the US of A.

Fix America

I just found a great quote by one of our founding Fathers.
As Thomas Jefferson said, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks, and the corporations which grow up around them, will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

More on Fix America

I just wonder if the people thought, back in 1950, the United States shouldn’t be in the highway building business when President Eisenhower brought up building the Interstate Highway System. What if they did and he listened to them, where do you think this country would be today.

So come on people we have to think out of the box again in this day in time. What would be the difference in the US being in the Interstate Railway System? Why not give incentives to developers, who are secure financially, to build the warehouses in the regional hubs; you know the six regional areas.

While all this work is going on the states and the US could contract out the building of the new highways from the hubs to the major Interstate Highways. After all if the fuel taxes were spent on the projects it was designed for I believe there would be enough money to pay for the Highways. As for the Railway System, we’re borrowing money so put it to good use. The taxes on the Railway System would go to paying for the maintenance on it and the loan took out to bail America out.

I think with all the people it would take to do a project this size there would be a heck of a lot of taxes collected by the government to fund more projects. What could we use it for, maybe wind turbines, in the coastal and planes states? How about WiMax in the communities, local city and state government could use it for city and state Utilities, emergency response systems, and sale Internet service to their community to help pay for the infrastructure.

More on "What we can do about the economy".

Harry Brelsford

Harry Brelsford said "I’d like to add “green technology” such as wind power to the conversation".

I agree this is a powerful suggestion. Suggestions like this will make this blog be noticed by Washington D.C. If enough people get on the wagon (Blog) we can change the destructive course the government is leading us down and put this country back together. It was the greatest nation in the world and can be again. The United States was the technological leader in the world and can be again. So please give your comments and let us together heal our home.

What we can do about the economy.

The President and Congress could help the country to recover. Just spend our money building Railroads, Highways, and Communication infrastructure. This would create real Jobs and stop the wasteful spending they’re doing now. I believe they could divide the USA into six or more commercial regions and create a central hub of warehouses in each region. Then build railway spurs to each hub. There would have to be train switching yards built at each hub. They would need to build interstate highways from the hubs to the major cities in each region.

Yes it is about time for the Government to start spending our money in the right places. Bail out the auto industry; no they just have away our money! They, the auto industry, went bankrupt anyway. There is plenty of work that needs to be done on the roadways, railroads, bridges, and our dams are in need of major repairs. So call your US Representatives and US Senators and tell them that is where they need to spend our money. We ought to let them also know we’re tired of the wasteful spending they have been doing for so many years. The government is way too big it does not take that many people to run the government, if it is ran right.
